Budapest day 1 · Landing, bouldering, night cruise

• I go bouldering alone in the afternoon, then meet my friends. You said not to worry about the companions' flights (decision D-46): the timeline leaves them a whole "Reserved" block; they can go to the hotel first to drop off luggage, or go straight to Retro Lángos / the pier.
• Meeting point: the pier (Vigadó tér pier 5) for the Danube night cruise (booked and paid), check-in by 19:20 at the latest. If the companions have not reached the venue by 17:30, meet me at Retro Lángos (18:09) or at the pier by 19:20 at the latest.
• Return: after getting off the boat, walk to the Chain Bridge, then head back to the hotel.

• Daylight saving time ended early this morning, so all times below are winter time (CET).
• Airport → MAG47 climbing gym (bouldering): 200E at 14:03 → Felsőcsatári út, change to bus 95 → Kada utca / Maglódi út at 14:32, then walk 3 minutes (checked on Transitous 10-22). If you miss it, take the 14:12 or 14:29 one.
• MAG47 climbing gym (bouldering) → venue: walk 7′ + bus 85 + walk 19′, about 32 minutes (checked on Transitous 10-22).
• Venue → next to Parliament (Kossuth Lajos tér): 10E + M2, 17:30 → 18:09 (checked on Transitous 10-22).
• Chain Bridge → hotel: from the Chain Bridge walk 15′ to Deák Ferenc tér, then M3 → Népliget → tram 1 (checked on Transitous 10-22); the second plan arrives 22:20, and the last leg was not checked trip by trip.
• Airport → hotel: 101E + tram 1 (checked on Transitous 10-22).
• Re-check the services on BKK the day before leaving.

Open 10/25 departs 19:40; arrive at the pier by 19:20 for ticket check; official site: Pier 5 at Vigadó tér has a 19:40 sailing every day from 10-19 to 11-02 (there are also 17:00, 18:00, 18:10, 18:30, 19:10, 19:20, 20:20, 20:30, 20:50, 21:30, 21:40); the whole trip takes 1 hour. 10-25 19:40 runs as normal. Danube Bend routes (St. Andrew etc.) are suspended from 7-13 to 10-31 because of low water; this does not affect the city night cruise

Notes The official page does not say what ID a student ticket needs; ISIC only appears among the partner logos at the bottom of the page. After I land at 13:35, I go to MAG47 for bouldering first (this time I go on my own), then meet my friends and we go to the venue together. We leave at 17:30, eat lángos next to Parliament, walk along the river past the Shoes memorial to the pier, take the paid night cruise at 19:40, walk to the Chain Bridge after getting off for the night view, and then go back to the hotel. The lodging is planned from the hotel screenshot you sent on 10-22 (Budapest hotel, for you to confirm, see decision Q-07); the hotel is in District X.

• Bouldering and eating are both indoors; the cruise is paid for, so we go as planned.
• If it rains after the cruise, skip the walk and go straight back to the hotel.

• Leave the hotel: tram 1 → M2, then walk 13′ to Fisherman's Bastion (arrive 08:40); the upper level is free before 09:00.
• Bouldering tomorrow morning: after Fisherman's Bastion, 4 people boulder at Gravity from 10:40 (Mon open 06–23, cheaper before 15:00). I bring my climbing shoes; the companions rent shoes at the gym (900 Ft).
• Book tomorrow's Horgásztanya lunch (4 people, 13:00): call or e-mail, see the "People to contact" page. Stand25 is too expensive so we are skipping it, and we are skipping Taste Asian too; if you booked them earlier, remember to cancel.
• Tomorrow evening we go back to the venue for the banquet; tell me what time the banquet starts.
